We’re making progress on the left and right doors and the rear hatch. Alongside installing the 8HP70 transmission, we’ve resumed work on the bodywork.
We’re converting a substantial portion of the bodywork to carbon fiber, so we expect a significant reduction in weight and an increase in rigidity 💪
The original body panels are almost entirely steel, so they’re really heavy 😅 Especially the front clamshell…
By the way, many people think carbon fiber can’t be repaired, but it certainly can. Our staff are used to repairing race cars, so we can restore it perfectly, including the paintwork 😎 An ordinary body shop won’t be able to do it, though, so if you have a collision, you’ll need to bring the car to us 💦
