We are evaluating vehicle speed detection for the Jaguar E-Type. The plan is to convert the signal for use by the digital gauges and electric power steering.
The original speedometer is mechanical, so a new electrical speed signal is needed. We are also checking speed-dependent steering control, which will vary assistance between low and high speeds.
