We relocated the alternator on the 1UR engine that was planned for the Jaguar E-Type at the time, to address interference in the installation.
With an intended output of 180 A compared with the original 60 A, we were also considering the power supply for air conditioning and other electrical equipment. This article records the development stage when we were evaluating the 1UR engine.
